Anthony Miller, 39-years-old, claims that he robbed a bank in Ephrata in 2007 because he wanted to escape his wife who threatened him with suicide if he left her. Without the the guts to divorce her, he walked into a bank carrying a bb gun and demanded money from the teller before proceeding to tell them to notify the police. Miller pleaded guilty in June and received a three to six year sentence from Lancaster County Judge Louis Farina on Monday. His defense attorney says that the couple has divorced in the past year.
